Football is a team sport where every position plays a major role. Though it doesn’t look like at times, it is a game of inches where a strong line can make all the difference. Great teams often produce great results for their players, regardless of position, both on and off the field. You never know where you will end up if you work hard.
As most sports, many play it in their youth, fewer play in high school, less play in college, and just a few make it to the Pros. The most important thing is to enjoy it until it doesn’t make sense physically, so you can pursue your other life goals. Though Football is known as the American Sport, it captivates more fans than any other sport in the world. There are many great rivalries in high school, college, and pro football that fuel attention for a rapidly growing audience.
Studies have shown that playing organized sports can improve life in many ways. Organized Team Sports can help develop and promote social, organization, and leadership skills, and also help to resist negative peer pressure. Many long-term friendships are created through team sports as well. It is a good idea to play recreational sports if you can after high school.
Last season, Class 1A, District 2 was a mixed bag of results.
